Having my first horse to the ripe old age of 42 left me with a soft spot for the “moldy oldies.” Many horses have passed their prime but are still members of the family. They have won buckles and saddles, ribbons and hugs. They have packed you over countless miles, protecting you along the way. They have also put you in your place when you deserved it and for that you are wiser and kinder. We have been given so much from our horses and we owe it to them to care for them in their senior years. I will work with you to enhance your senior citizen’s quality of life and will help ease their passing with dignity when the time comes. Specialized care for a senior horse includes:

  • Nutrition Consultation
  • Dental Evaluation and Correction
  • Lameness Evaluation and Management
  • Metabolic Disease Screening (for Equine Pars Pituitary Dysfunction "Cushings)
  • End of life consultation and Euthanasia
