Aramat Equine strives to produce quality, well-started and well-rounded prospects with upper level potential for serious amateur riders. A horse’s foundation is fundamental and is not taken lightly. All our foals are imprinted and handled appropriately from birth. They are well socialized and are accustomed to travel, farrier and veterinary care, stalling and groundwork. They are then allowed to grow up in a herd until of age to start under saddle work. Our horses are brought along at their own pace, not pushing them mentally or physically. When you purchase a horse from Aramat, you can be sure you are getting a happy, healthy, sound young horse with no gaps in its education ready to embark on a partnership with you.
Andale - 2014 17.1h Bavarian WB/TB gelding by Apiro (Argentinus/ Pilot) out of a 3’6” hunter mare.
For your consideration, “Ande” is an elegant, kind amateur-friendly mount with a phenomenal canter, giant elastic stride and light movement. Professionally started at 3.5 years and gently brought along. Ande is schooling courses and has flying changes!
Ande has loads of experience outside the arena and is confident on the trail alone or in a group. Brave, quiet push ride. No spook. He has even been out riding at night during a lunar eclipse.
Ande will be a fabulous derby horse, a mid level eventer or a hunter. He even has the movement for dressage. Ande loves people and attention and is always the barn favorite.
No vices, loads himself, doesn’t flinch for shots, farriers love him, side passes to the mounting block (which you will need!)
Currently in Portland, Oregon in a training program preparing for his first show season at Thermal this winter. Scoop this big guy up before he starts collecting ribbons and the price goes up.
Priced at mid 5 figures. Price to increase with continued training.
Clean radiographs on file.
“Phord” is by Silver Creek’s Validation (Vallado /Lansing / Capitol I) a proven producer of sporty, athletic, willing foals. Phord's dam Saphena is a proven producer of athletic, amateur friendly foals. Saphena is an unraced TB with Argentinian Sporthorse bloodlines who competed in Hunter/Jumpers and eventing. She is honest, forgiving and brave in the ring and out on XC. Phena passes theses characteristics onto her offspring, teaching them to be patient and kind as well as obedient and disciplined.
Phord was bred to be an all around competitor suitable for an amateur but with enough scope and grit to excel at the highest level. Phord has already proven his worth at 6 months of age by causally jumping out of his 5ft tall stall when he felt it was his time for turnout. He has been exposed to all kinds of farm chaos and creatures and often plays ball with the Dobermans. He leads, loads, trailers and ties and stands calmly for the farrier and vet procedures. And he is going to be a gorgeous grey just like his daddy. What more could you hope for in a future partner?
The Holsteiner, Dutch, TB cross is known to produce leggy, sporty athletes that excel in jumping and eventing and have the mind and heart and stamina to succeed at the upper levels. This is your chance to get a Validation baby that is already on the ground and who has been well handled and started.
